Canada has also a C-boater going to the Olympics, James Cartwright finished 8th in the final at the Athens WC/ Olympic qualifier race! Congratilations 8) .
Canada has 2 more boats at the Olympics, David Ford in K1 and Margaret Langford in K1W! Congrats to these athletes, too!

My congrats to your athletes as well. The effort and commitment that go into reaching the Olympic stage is incredible. And both of our countries could do a lot better in the support of these athletes, in comparison to what some European nations provide. Margaret, David and Jamie have sacrificed large portions of their lives to chase their Olympic dreams and all are going in as "contenders" not pretenders. Good luck to them all. I wonder which of our countries will fare the best in whitewater this summer. I'd be glad to see any North American bring back a medal.
