Delaware

So I'm going to be working around Middletown Delaware for the next few months. I don't think there is too much whitewater in the area but was wondering if there were any pool sessions semi-local. You guys know of any or a short afterwork run?

Wilmington Trail Club is a very active group with a lot of paddlers, I would suggest looking into pool sessions that the run. I think they hold pool sessions every Sunday in Newark.

You are about 1.5 hours away from the Greater Baltimore Canoe Club roll sessions at Goucher College on Sunday Nights. Let me know if you are going and I will be sure to show up with pleny of open boats to clog the deep end of the pool ;) I usually go to about half of their sessions so they are no stangers to having a canoe in the pool.

Lots of serious action on the Susquehanna around Conowingo when levels are right -- best to check with the locals. Several smaller fall-line streams in the general area for class 2+ runs. Further west the Conewago Canoe Club has some active paddlers.
