Who here has enjoyed the feeling of flying in a canoe? I'm talkin vertical ppl. Over the past 4 months I have gone vertical very much. And I must tell you... it is a feeling to be remembered. Especially if you stick the 'money drop'. There is no feeling like it.

50ft drop on twin falls was awesome(ran it blind).

Then there is the feeling of 'oh shttttt' that you'll have when you mess up a vertical drop. In 1 season... I have manged to run a 40fter backward, drop upsidedown for 30ft on a 40ft drop, and drop 15ft upside down in the tubs...(rolled up at the bottom of everyone)

So.... let's see some carnage pictures. lets here some big drop tales...after all... the closest any of us will ever be to a super hero... is running waterfalls in a canoe. and I'll tell you what... you'll certainly feel like one when you do it.

Hey Tommy,

Cool photos! Not taking anything away mate but those are rapids and slides not drops. Lets see some air time! Had a dig around and I don't have any photos on drops. I feel a Scotland trip coming along!

Happy hooking,

Kelvin.

Kelvin-

Do you have any videos of Etive or Nevis, particularly the big Nevis drop right upstream from the bridge? I'd love to get back to Scotland for boating...

tokebelokee, would that drop on the Etive be "Right Turn"? I went hiking there with the University of Stirling Mountaineering Club in 1999. I had no idea what I was missing. I would LOVE to go back and paddle in Scotland someday.

Shep-

I never hiked much in the Etive area, but there area open boat vids of it on youtube. There is one video of a guy kayaking the Nevis drop. I heard it is the one that Liam Neeson swims over in Rob Roy-don't know if that is true. It looks like fun. I'd love to see some Scotland videos if folks out there have them.

Hey markzak. You MUST remove #2. I do not swim nor have I swum. I DO NOT care what others say what they THINK they saw and I ESPECIALLY do NOT care for DOCTORED photos showing something that is contrary to my pro/expert skillz! And ESPECIALLY on ripply water.

And I've got excuses ready if anyone wants to call me out on any "suspect" swim.

Never mind the excuses for the swim. What's the excuse for the color of the boat? Did it use to belong to your sister? Really was red but left out in the sun too long? Must be the lighting in the photo?
