Sad to admit my first paddle in the delirium was a little disapointing  It took some fooling around to get the fore and aft trim worked out. Some of my frustration could be common to spuds in general - slow- ripping up your favorite wave might not be the same. Enough wimping out, compared to say, a sub6, the prjion does not have the same turned up bow sooo it pearls easier! Bounce and it may surprise you when the bow digs in. The sides of the prjion slope in, tumblehome, the sub6 flares out. Flare increases secoundary stability, enough said. The stern is a bit different, narrow bottom, and thick from deck to hull bottom. This makes it odd sliceing through fast hard water. I think the stern thing is some thing I will get used to, it is just different. The bow and tumblehome make it less forgiving I guess it will make me better.

It is a slicey, loose boat that wheels and spins. Hopefully more time in the saddle will bring bigger smiles :-? :) :o :D

I am 6'-4" 205lbs
