Lake Placid area in late July

Post by ohioboater »

I have a wedding to attend during the last weekend in July up in Lake Placid. Does anything in that area typically run in the summer? Or should I just stick to mountain biking?

You're about 20-30 minutes from Ausable Chasm, that pretty much runs all summer long.

How far do you want to travel? The Rouge River, north west of Montreal would be a good option. That's probably 3 hours, but that's just guessing.
