I agree, it looks like an Ocoee.

As for the hole, I'm fairly certain that's Phil's Hole in McKoy's Rapid on the Ottawa. Been through there plenty of times usually getting window-shaded and/or being ripped out of my boat and/or losing a shoe in the process.

There's a short video from the rodeo there a couple of years ago, called "open canoe beatdown" I believe, with Colin Moneypenny having actually a pretty good run while it lasts...

Who was that in "Canoes Suck" at 1:50? Kind of a bad-@ss eddy turn.

Straying just a little O/T, I have to say that though there are a lot of great, if not inspirational Youtube canoe videos, I have to credit Jeryl, co-owner of a little (mostly) kayak shop in Dayton, OH who steered me away from a kayaking video I was going to buy and put a copy of "Tales of the Paddlesnake" in my hand. That moment was the birth of whitewater canoing for me. I still love the hades out of that old vid.

Believe it start's off with Mark Scriver, and then quickly proceeds to a couple of on the spot single blade conversions.... followed by the ever popular beat-down fest.

Dan Flath, the guy who made the Dog River film, occasionally posts here. and Dave, the guy in the Red Probe, also posts under "dafried" I believe. Dan's other films on Youtube and Vimeo are very good.
