A horse of a different color...

Hard to believe I've had this hull sitting in my basement since April but I was just recently able to get all of the special bits and pieces I wanted together in the past month and I spent a good amount of time putting it all together.

No... this isn't a production boat or a new color for 2012.

That being said... what new color or even in very a limited run color choice would you like to see in 2012 ?

This might sound strange... but I almost don't want to paddle the thing... sadly my wife said I'm not allowed to hang it over our bed.

I like too, very elegant version, a little classic for a wild horse but, elegant.

Very cool!

I said it the other night - if I see a purple L'edge I'm going to have a hard time keeping a tight hold on my wallet...

It's black with brazilian mahogany trim and thwarts (6) plus I made some twintex deckplates for it... the greenish hue in the picture above is just a reflection off the grass.

Guillaume Chasse (Jacques son) and I both decided last summer during testing that the two of us needed to have a black version just... well... because.

It's cut, tweaked and pulled a lot compared to my "stocker" so it should be fun for zipping around or racing... not that the L'edge is really a 'race boat' but this'll be more of a special occassion boat for me than anything else... pretty stoked about how the finished product came out though... the pictures don't quite do it justice if I do say so myself.

:D

If anyone around my area needs or wants wood for gunnels... pm me for Dave Hirsch's contact info... he's the man.

A limited run of black boats even without the exotic wood would be great. You know they look good and already have the materials. Make enough so some of them can find their way down to the USA. :)
