Steep Creeking and Southern Fried Creekin are my two favorite old school whitewater canoeing movies.

Canoe Movie 2 will be on sale next month: http://www.canoekayak.com/canoe/canoe-movie-2/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Kent Ford's C-1 video is titled "C-1 Challenge" and is available on DVD.

The "Solo Open Whitewater Canoeing" video that was mentioned is by Tom Foster. It is excellent and available on DVD.

Tom Foster did an earlier instructional video in which he demonstrates a variety of strokes and maneuvers, including rolls, on flat water. It is titled "Solo Canoeing: Whitewater Bound". As far as I know, that was never made available on DVD. I have an old copy on VHS. Some years after I watched it, I wound up paddling with Tom on the lake on which it was filmed.

There was a somewhat quirky video done by a guy named Ric Taylor appropriately titled "Ric Taylor's Solo Canoe". It was on VHS tape and I never saw it available on DVD. Further, it was subtitled "Volume One - Solo Strokes". I never saw or heard of a volume two.
