Placement of pump, battery, etc for decked esquif L'Edge

Post by Chuck Wilkison »

I would like to add a pump to my decked L'Edge. I have them in my other open canoes and enjoy them. I have an idea, but do not want to reinvent the "wheel". Suggestions will be appreciated.

I don't think Tom's running a pump.

Go either under (bob britt style) or in front of the saddle. I d go in front. It makes the whole thing easy to remove in case you rediscover the light somewhere down the road.
