everest Vs Stomper

Any thoughts or comparisons on the stomper vs the everest conversions?

I am currently in a Remix 79 but want and edge and I am tired of getting back-endered.

Don't quote me on this, but i think the Stomper has less of an edge then the Remix does. I have no experience with an Everest though. I suggest asking your question on boatertalk.com I believe the Everest is more of a camping river runner with tons of extra volume for storage and the Stomper is the newest greatest creek boat out right now IMO.

I love my everest C1. Lots of edge and volume. My favorite creek C1 by far and it has more edge than the Stomper.

The stomper ha a full on displacement hull, and I'm pretty sure the everest is the same.

the stomper has a ROUND hull... thats what a displacement hull is, unless im sorely mistaken.

bob, the stomper (i'm looking at my mates 90 ot the window) has a flat hull with chamfered edges.

Same with the Everest... It is definitely a "flat" hull as well, not round.... John- you liked your old Burn so much, you should get in an everest.

Everest is a sick creeker and you'll get a sweet On Top float that you seem to be looking to improve to. Past Burn love directly relates to your future Everest enjoyment too.

Stomper is semi-displacement, rounder hull with softer edges and continious rocker. Everest is a planning hull, flat and lots of edge. Remix is a planning hull with less edge then the Everest, but more then the stomper from what I have seen.

From what you said you like and wanted, the Everest would be more in line then the Stomper. Planning hull, lots of edge and volume to keep you from being endered.

I suggest looking at the new Mamba or a Burn. If you want more primary stability then a remix you will not like a stomper.

I paddled an Everest exclusively for a year. I can't compare it to anything but open boats and a Wavesport Z but what I can tell you is that the Everest is a forgiving, stable, well-surfacing, fast and easy to roll boat...period.

I couldn't boof it consistently but that may speak more of the boater and not the boat.
