Does anybody have experience with Esquif airbags? How do they compare to Gaia airbags?
I can’t find anything on their website about Esquif airbags.

Re: Esquif airbags
Karsten,
Esquif doesn't make their airbags. Gaia bags have proven to be quite good. I've had good success with Mohawk bags too.
Did you find someone to ship you a L'Edge?
It'd be a nice addition to your Stink Eye

Yea. I found several companies that are willing to ship me an L’edge. A bit pricey but OK. It reaches 3750$ by the time it is on my roof rack. I am comparing the quotes now.
They say they can fit Esquif airbags in the boat and I believe them when they say so.
At least this guy has Esquif airbags: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbCsoHdP ... e=youtu.be
Look at 2:09.
The Gaia airbags I have in my Stinkeye seem to be holding up fine.

Re: Esquif airbags
I think the retailers can spec either vinyl or nylon Esquif bags. I got mine last March with the yellow nylon bags (very similar to Gaia in my opinion).
I cut my decks almost immediatley (ie: opened up my bags to harm) and haven't had any issues. I'm not particularly carefull with them either and often drag the boat through the brush to put-ins and take outs. I would recommend them.

Re: Esquif airbags
Esquif airbags at least look like they are made by Gaia, and I seem to remember they state that they are produced by gaia.
I have gaia airbags in my prelude and I'm very pleased with them.
The old Mohawks were really good. Heavy, but close to rock-solid. Mohawk airbags are now also produced by Gaia if I'm not mistaken.

Re: Esquif airbags
If all the bags are made by Gaia I think it will be best for me just to order Esquif bags with the boat. Less shippign cost ect. Thanks for the enlightening answers.
