Blue Hole Sunburst outfitting

Post by riverratron »

We recently bought a Blue Hole Sunburst. It is currently set up for solo paddling and we want to convert it to a tandem boat. We were wondering if anyone could help us in determining the best placement of the cane seats that we are wanting to install? Also, is there anywhere that you can still purchase the small seats that Blue Holes used to have in them? Lastly, there is a spot on the bottom of the boat, approximately the size of a softball, where the vinyl has worn off. Any suggestions on the best way to repair that spot?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know what seats were originally used in the sunburst, but I have original aluminum bar style seats from a 17' blue hole oca that I am looking to sell. Still in good shape. I was asking $20 for the pair plus shipping if I had to ship them UPS. Only problem is I am guessing they may be to wide, not sure how easy they are to cut down and make shorter. If interested I can take pics and measure them for you. I live in Delta, Pa. Best way to contact me if interested in the seats is wkoenig@lccg.biz

thanks
