FullGnarlz Episode 1: Beaver Fever

Post by FullGnarlzOC »

Over labor day weekend, a handful of canoers set out on a mission to "Chase the Beaver". They ended up getting Beaver Fever. The following video shows what happens when you have Beaver Fever.

This FullGnarlz project was a team effort - on and off the river. Hats off to those that went FullGnarlz all weekend and went for the glory. I was very proud to be apart of it. Hopefully this edit sparks an effort to keep sharing video - as it make a big difference in an edit.

Enjoy the vid! :)

Looks great Tommy, it was an awesome weekend. I'm going to have a companion video up tonight or tomorrow.

As for the carnage, there was plenty to go around, and I was proud to be a part of it. Crashing off the 2nd drop of Mosier was a highlight. For future reference, when Mark tells you that you want to be more left than you think, you want to be more left than you think.

Enjoyed the visuals, but I really need to start utilizing the mute button on canoeing and kayaking videos in general. Also, when is this claw thing going to get old?

lung - you can always mute the music - and overlay your own as you watch - or watch in silent. and as for the brownclaw... I don't think its gonna get old or die out anytime soon. Some people get it - some people don't. Either way, you should get use to it - as I think its here to stay....

For the record "Armada's" aren't necessarily organized by the volunteer staff here - we just happen to have the folks who've always organized the North Branch Armada on "staff".

So if anyone wants to organize a gathering go for it! The first ARF seemed a pretty good success to me, and all I did was show up:)

Don't mind me. I'm just jealous of all the water. Pretty dried up over here in Minnesota.

I think dropping a waterfall and swimming negates the brown claw... 8)

Let me explain - The Running the sht or.... running the brown... is only amplified by swimming... hence....mooooore brown.

everytime you see someone throw a brown claw, anywhere.... all it really means is that they are stoked to be alive and doin the dam thing

I think people are missing the point, brown claws are just messing around, having fun whilst boating. Which is why we go boating right?

When I swam by Mark, he had his camera about a foot from my face, and I had nothing else to do, so I browned. That clip continues past where all three of us cut it to show Mark laughing hysterically, because it was a joke. If you gonna eat it, eat it with style.

Anyways, back to your regularly scheduled entertainment. Which contact cement should I use to repair the stems of a royalex boat?
