The 9:30 am meeting time from previous years (and your other post) sound fine to me. Meet up at the brick building, set shuttle, and be at the put in at 10:30 +/-?

See you there!

phase I

Post by sbroam »

It looks like Phase I of the Armada is a sweep of the James in Richmond, Friday, starting at 10:00ish. I don't know the James so I can't give you particulars, but I will know more when I meet up with Kneal. pm or e-mail if you are planning on catching up with us and I'll send you my cell number.

Last week I was bummed when I realized that there was no way I could make the NB Armada this year- then the James River enticed some of the traveling fools to stop and paddle tomorrow, so I do get to spend some time with my single bladed brethren on the River afterall  . Gunst and I plan to meet you guys for the downtown run @ 10- thanks for adjusting your time to accomadate!

Well, family has interviened a bit, and I won't be able to make it down this weekend to the NB armada  .

I'll try and put together a mid-late june (ish) Hudson armada though, for those that are interested.

Have fun...and someone take pictures of the Nerious for me!!!
Keep the C!

The truck is loaded & I'm ready to paddle. I'll see the 'phase I' group in Richmond in the morning. After we get off the river we'll head North & see everyone else.

I'm bringing the Viper (full cut) & Acrobat (1/2" cut). I'm paddling the Viper. KNeal will be in the Acro on the James. Jim, it's yours for the NBP. Bring a slalom sized skirt since I only have one. If anyone else wants to try, either boat, just ask. Everyone is welcome to try them.

I don't plan to build a fire, but if anyone else does you need to bring wood. Remember last year's adventure in wood hunting?
