hi ed.
yeah, bernie is a c1 paddler and knows how to set up boats. i bought a used h3 from him a while back and it was good to go with some very minor tweaking. it was also the best c1 i ever paddled. i think he sells new and used. ships 'em too.
don't know why he ain't chiming in here... you out there Bernie?
maybe you could pm him to get his attention

If he doesn't get back with you for a little bit, don't worry. The shop is closed until Feb. and I think he is on the road.

I sort of expected that. I'm sure he will touch base when he gets back to work. I just hope he's taking advantage of the time to run great rivers in some exotic place in the world. ;)

Just to follow up, Bernie did send me a message which I answered but he never got back. He's probably too busy.

I am still in the market for a new boat, be it a conversion or something like the fatboy.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I think that is a great idea, Larry. I would love to but I live a way from the US and am not sure which godfather I should ask to visit.

Maybe, just maybe, he will see this. :D I'm going to send him anoth pm.
