Al,
After doing a little research it seems the OC1 class has no restrictions other than age groups and sex. Paddle what you bring! Should be lots of fun!

Should the Lenior thingy have a qualifying race?

Yes I think that would be a great idea! Its to late for this year but we could take this Louie Fest to a whole new open/C boat level. Its a perfect time for us Canadians. I bet we could even get Esquif on board as a sponsor.

Al,
Come on down to Reedsville, PA on May 05-06 and get your daughter qualified. Even if she makes two runs that 50, two-thirds of the gates she will qualify. Just so long as she finishes in her boat. I have a C1 she can borrow if she wants to give that a try as well.

Thanks Tom,
I would if I could but I can't..... she has her gymnastic recital that weekend. So that won't happend.
Gymnastics is something that I really push, gymnastics is one of those core skills that teaches the body and mind, spacial awearness. For certain sports spacial awearness will divide the haves from the have-not's.
So off to the recital we go.
