In the OC outfitter wasteland that is eastrn Pa, I have to give props to Blue Mountain Outfitters in Maryville Pa just ouside of Harrisburg. Paddles boats, oufitting and repair supplies.

Here around Montreal you can find many a big stores who sells esquif canoes, but no ones gives quite as good customer service and can do custom work on new or used canoes, even C1 outfittings etc apart "Camp de base" (down in dorval).
Watch out; that river has rocks on the bottom. :o

Don't suppose it of much use to you guys in US but when in Europe last season I ran into some Czech paddlers, there C1 coversion was done by Boatpark (Czech outfit), they realy looked like they knew what they wer doing
