Wendy 70 % of the people there will be class II Class III paddlers of that group maybe 20% will step it up to Class III, Class IV because of the large group with them to provide support. If the rain were to stop now we all could be runnin only Class II Class III. Before I would let you run shuttle for lack of someone to run with I'll run what ever you feel comfortable on. I got all year to run the sugar cookie, I don't have all year to run with company.

Might send a friend up for a weekday or two trip - please don't kill her, she's in a butt boat but she is nice.

For those of you who have not contacted me or responded to an email I sent out a few weeks back.

FYI current about 41 people have contacted me so far with intentions of coming to ALF.

If you want to be added to the contact list then email me with the following: cmnypny at hotmail dot com

First/Last Name
cboats or wwr name
Cell Number
Email Address
Emergency Contact Name/Number (incase sh1t happens)
The days between 13-21 March you will be attending.

To the ALF Virgins:

Think of ALF as a pickup hockey game.

You show up at the daily meeting place (TBD). The locals say whats running and people split off into groups and go boating.

I'll be heading down after work on friday possible stopping and paddling sat on way down wv, nc, area. Down for the week. If I get tired I'll be back for Tohickon release the following weekend.
I'll be a lesser mortal focusing on trying that skill thing instead of scaring the hades out of myself in hair boating.
well maybe one or two days.

Second Weekend of ALF

Making a least 4 days of ALF.

If you have a feeling for running Sticks, on March 20th, Locust Fork Whitewater Classic: http://www.alabamacupraces.com/races.html

It's in North Alabama -- 4 hours from camp.

If you want to huck yourself off a waterfall with spectators or paddle in a rodeo, March 18 - 21st, the North Alabama Whitewater Festival:

http://www.nawfest.com/index.html

I'll probably head back down to run the sticks.
