Just kidding...
I'm not defending any particular boat, or material - or having only one boat! - I'm just saying that in this crowd, the feeling (based on a short demo) seemed to be that the L'Edge was maybe too oriented for steep rivers/creeks compared to what these folks typically paddle here. Don't shoot the messenger.
To generalize, I'd say most in this crowd are currently running class III boulder gardens and paddling Viper 11s or Outrages, so are used to a little more glide.
I think the L'Edge would be just fine for any of us, and people loved the stability, it would just take a little time to adjust compared to what they're used to.
