Depends on the OC outfitting. the full bulkhead and floor padding in my Prelude captures the warmth around my legs quite nicely. They may be a tad colder than in my decked boat, but there is quite a bit less heat loss from my torso. Overall I am warmer in the OC, as long as I can keep it reasonably dry and empty any water frequently.
