Bob, look on American Whitewater for a great description. The Lilly to Nemo is wilderness class III-IV. IN the upper part of the run right after you put in are the hardest rapids. Pictures and descriptions on AW.

how does it compare to, say, the middle tellico? i saw it was rated 3-4, but i only saw one 3+. is this because of the wilderness nature of the run? it looks fun. might you be willing to show me down if you go?

I wouldrate lilly to nemo III, with some III+ rapids for a normal flow.

Unless we get rain Clear creek will hold till Monday. The Tellico could be iffy even for Sunday. CC will run till 1000 cfs on Emory Oakdale gauge. It should be there.
Middle Tellico on Saturday looks like a good bet, tho rather low. Alabama is saying rain on Friday. Hope its true and it goes north east.

Cathy and I (Bill ) are staying in a "mini-cabin" at sweetwater KOA Sat night and the rest of the week till Friday. We are definitely NOT class 4. More like 2.5.
Red and Yellow Ocoees and soon to ad an Option.

Volkswagon Gulf wagon. Showing up at the restaurant Sat morning. (arriving from Knoxville)

Hope/pray to see a good group of 2/3'rs.

Bill, Ya'll should paddle this section of CLear Creek- we are doing it for the Class II-III boaters. Be at Shoneys by 8:45 to gather by 9. Barnett to Lilly. Look at link I posted earlier. The middle Tellico putting in at Turkey Creek is also an option. Hope there will be enough water Sun to run the middle.

There were 27 on this trip including a few kayakers, but a majority were open boats with a couple C1's. Did anyone get video of my buffoonery at Lilly rapid? Last boat down.
