I wain't be buying a boat in some dull purple or darkened lilac, but a violently eye-offending violet colour I could go for.

Chris- if they made purple would you want the regular weight L'Edge or a lighter version to be used for deeper waters, not creeking

"Colors MUST clash to the greatest extent possible".

I'm fairly new to OC1 so I don't really need creeking capability at the moment but I am likely to bash it about more than a more experienced paddler so I would say regular weight without the decks.
