Question: What length of paddle do you use .

I cut my Mitchell down from 60" to 56" and I noticed a big difference in the OC but a much bigger difference in the C1. My stroke rate is way up, I'm able to brace much quicker and I'm not tripping over my paddle on my offside nearly as much. I'm 5'7" if that matters.
