Dry Top and Pants vs. Dry Suit

A Goretex drysuit is absolutely the best single piece of winter gear to own. I got one last year and can't believe it took me 14 years of winter paddling to wise up.

It takes lots of folks a long time to realize this. Yes, a goretex drysuit is expensive, but I have never met anyone who bought one and regrets it. The same cannot be said for drysuits made of other materials, or of other types of gear (top/pants combo, etc).
