Conclusion: Huge improvement! It is still a bit less comfortable in the boat than when I test the seat outside. I think it has to do with the hull not been flat in the bottom and therefore not supporting the front of my legs. I will keep it as it is until I have more time to modify it. Maybe making a flat floor in the boat will help even more.

Are you using any ankle blocks in that thing?

Nope, not at the moment.
My problem is to get blood circulation behind the knees. I have no trubble stretching my ancles so they are completely flat. I tried ancle blocks and a full profile from the knees to my toes but then my legs fall asleep faster with them than without.


yes I know; too much telemark skiing and biking = big legs.
