Well according to map quest I am 4.5 hours from the job to the upper yough. I can see me driving over on a Friday evening particulary if i might be able to do the top yough one day and the upper the next. The top is not dam control is it? also how far from the upper to the what ever section has the fall you have to pay to do is it? I figure if a guy with Tennessee tag was seen fleein the falls, they would never figure he would head south but would be lookin for me to head south.

Top Yough is not dam controlled. It is too low right now. The section with the fall is the Lower Yough. The fall is in Ohiopyle. It is about an hour from the Upper. The fall is only legally runnable next Saturday.

This time of year it is usually low enough. Sometimes the Corps back the flow down a bit for the Falls Race. I think over 1.8' the boil starts to get meaner.

I've heard of people running it when the park is dead like on a weekday. Watch for the Crick Dick! There are a lot up there now. Not sure what the fine is.
