Yesterday was our first day in whitewater with te boat:

Craig, Dave Proulx who did the CAD drawing, Jeff Thuot and I took 3 L'Edges and a Spanish Fly (Craig had to give is ex-girlfriend one last ride, right?), followed by M. Chassé himself and Ambroise Savard from Canot Légaré in a raft to shoot pictures and videos on a nice class 3 (4) section of our local Jacques-Cartier river.

First unofficial impression: WOW! You might expect me to come up with only positive comment as I work for Esquif, but honestlly, WOW!

I cannot post pictures here yet as they are not publicly available online, but have a look at the Esquif page or my own on Facebook, I will put a few more teasers before the end of the week-end.

Then, in a few days, when our shoulders will ask for a break, we'll get busy writing a full report and posting tons of pictures of our new baby!

30+ are on the assembly line right now, and more are being molded daily.

That's all folks for now, stay tuned!

This will be my final post on this thread because the Lèdge is ready. I will start a new thread soon showing the production boat in the water complete with my impressions and all of the final specs.

We had three of them out yesterday for their initial trial... and they absolutely passed with flying colors and a LOT of smiles.

Until then here is a link to a small gallery with some pictures from the Esquif World Headquarters.

Enjoy... :D

P.S. I`m stoked... gotta run... going to go get wet

Very nice!!

I only sorta wanted one before... now I can't wait!

Thanks for posting those pic comparing to the prelude. The l'edge looks like it will be a better boat for us larger framed folks (wider and deeper than the lude).
