What is your opinion of it as a conversion. I know you said that you can't paddle c1 anymore but what would you say
Just curious Thanks

Honest to God, I can't tell you as I haven't tried it as a C1. I designed it as a cutting edge kayak- although it has some resemblence to the Groove, the width is centralized rather than pushed behind the hips. Contrarily, the Orbit prototype is wider behind the hips, making it I believe a better C1 conversion. See if you can get Paul Danks to give us some input here- he has one and seems to be liking it. There are a number of C boaters up here who are taking to the Mad Dog. Give me some time and I'll see if I can tough out a short session in it.
Ian.
