Further info on Perception, Dagger saddles, conversions
by Scott B.
I spoke to a guy named Brad at Perception today while trying to track down some specs on hardware they use [Specifically what kind of screws they use as I am replacing some - "stainless, 10-32, truss head, phillips, machine screws".] I asked him about the availability of Perception saddles and factory outfitted boats - he said they no longer made the saddle and that as of this year you could not order a C-1 from the factory. They only got three or four orders last year. I asked him if that was true for Dagger, too, he said it was but that the Dagger saddle would continue to be available as an accessory. He said it seemed that most C-1ers wanted to do their own conversions.
