C2s....
by Sir Adam
Greetings...
Well, I'm having trouble getting a response from the person with the Skeeter for sale ($400), but I have found a Tomahawk that looks to be in great shape ($650)...any comments would be appreciated! I know the Tomahawk is a newer design, and that they're both center-hole boats (and not off-set in this case).
C-ya!

Having never paddled either, my opinion is limited to "what I've heard" and seen (sic?). The tomahawk seems to be more oriented towards bigger teams, and from what I hear you need to be pretty big to throw it around...I think it's a stable boat and would make a great entry race boat or cruiser for those who can't throw it around on a big race course. It is a fairly new design, Matt and Leckey paddled for a couple years ('97-'00, I think) two guys that can definetly apply power to a C2. Anyway, I cannot remember the Skeeter very well. And it appears that Center Cockpit seems to be the way people are going these days....hope this helps.
