Which Boat: Skip or S6 190????

I'm currently paddling a C-1 prozone225 and would like to get a boat that is both shorter and has more rocker.

I'm 6' 2" and 150lbs, and stick mostly to play boating.

Any thoughts one these boats and which might work out better for me?

Thanks,

David

do like slice or not? i paddled the skip @ 180lbs other than it being too small it had very little slice which i place high on my priority list. also the skips bow would dive only by pushing down on my knees. i think the 190 will suite your needs better. also take a look at the robson twin tip (robsonpaddle.com). it has volume distribution in all the right places for a c-1 (it was designed by the same person who designed the prozone). plus it is slicy and has an extremely loose hull. let me know if you need more info on the robson.

cheers,
MW

twin tip?

It looks like the twin tip has a lot of volume (50USgal) for someone of my size (150lbs/68kg).

Is this boat available anywhere in the states? I've only ever heard of there boats in passing.

Thanks,

David

:D Ok-
for 150 lbs the skip is perfect. Bill Mcknight won the preworlds last spring in a skip @170lbs and Barry Kennon won last year's national championships in one as well. But the S-6 was arguably the best design all around last year, it is extremely wide so it is stable and loops very well, but it doesn't cartwheel as well as a skip. The skip/pop are the best cartwheeling boats under 6'6" on the market.. I think the skip is a better boat for pure freestyle play. The LL boats are high performance designs that are simply amazing and capable of anything... But if you want more of a river-running boat... then the s-6 might be a better choice....
I also think that LL has the best plastic and their designs are very conducive to converting to a C-boat.
just my $.02
oh I weigh 155 lbs and did I mention I enjoy the skip more than the s6...
