The multi-trip, multi-state, boat swap report...

It was dark when I turned the corner, and first saw her...long, lean, eye pleasing angles, and - of coarse - she was strapped to the top of Sir Adam's Audi!
Yes, I finally have my new (to me) Viper C-1!! Thank you Brandon, for swapping - the boat is in great shape, and I'm looking forward to taking her down the river. For those of you who followed our earlier, boat-swap-thread of posts - this all started way back in January? Tgripman wanted my Skeeter and I wanted his Viper, but Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Bangor, Maine, are quite a distance apart for an easy swap. And with the Viper being glass (YES!!! ), I was afraid to ship it. Sir Adam volunteered to help with moving the boats, and now, roughly ten weeks later - the boats are with their new paddlers.
I drove the Skeeter to Rochester, NY (in the snow) in February, where I met Sir Adam. We got a bite to eat at a local eatery, shared some C-stories, and then I left the Skeeter strapped to the top of a very small, very cool , German (?) speedster. Tgripman received the Skeeter the first week in March, when Sir Adam was in Maine. The next few weeks saw my Viper resting in good company in a spare room at Sir Adam's girlfriend's place. Sir Adam even took the time to repair a chip in the Viper's cockpit rim - THANKS! On March 31st, I drove to Rochester (in the SNOW AGAIN), and picked up the Viper. I've already started working on the outfitting, in anticipation of the May NBoP Armada... looks like a very exciting Spring/Summer ahead!
Thanks again to both Brandon, and Sir Adam...a very successful adventure - C-Boats, moved carefully by C-Boaters!
