I have had my Witch for a few weeks now and thought I'd share some initial thoughts on it. I had it on an ok wave today and this thing is crazy fast edge to edge. It is really loose to. It was actually quite wierd to paddle on a wave coming out of a XXX because its so fast. Carving is sharp and precise as well, which is also different from the XXX. Good speed too. The boat is way more manageable in the water than the XXX was. I'm about 145lbs and the ends on the XXX used to sink in anything above class IV, but this stays afloat nicely. Also fairly controlled on end for a short boat. My only complaint would be the smaller cockpit is a little tough for C-1 conversions, but it works fine. I guess thats what you get for converting a kayak. Also, the kayak outfitting is a bit sparse looking. I havn't had it in any good holes or big water yet, but I can tell that this thing excells on waves.
