I'm thinking about getting a new playboat to convert. I've been looking at the full tilt. Any opinions? Any similar boats out there? From what I can see the full tilt looks pretty good. Slicy and bouncey. I was also thinking about a g-force. I've been paddling a Mr. Clean for a year now and its been good to me but its time to move on.

I had try a full tilt c1 and it's not bad, but I think the gforce is better, even if never try it c1. But it has a looser hull and get air more easy.
But maybe the full tilt has more river runner abilities.
I'm waiting for my new king pin and will let you know my impressions soon.
Don't forget the necky chronic, it seem to be a really good c1.
I actually have a switch and it's far away all the other boat of its time.

I have a spin, and its great. I weigh 145, and its a little squirrely, but loads of fun. Isn't the full tilt just a little bigger than the spin?

Depending on your weight and size, I recommend the Necky Witch. I just bought one after paddling a XXX for a year, and it's awesome. It runs rivers pretty well due to gradually displaced volume. In my XXX every little current would catch my stern or bow and either throw me vertical or upside down. The Witch stays on top of the water which is nice. It surfs extremely well, way better than the XXX due to the sharp chines, plus is really loose. Also, in the hole the boat has quite a bit of pop for loops, etc. My one complaint is that the stern feels a little long, and definatly has a little more volume than the bow. You have to keep this in mind during spins and stuff. I was thinking about squashing the stern, but I don't think I'm going to. Cartwheels are controlled and not slow, but a good pace. The other thing which may limit you is that the cockpit is small, so unless you have chicken legs like me it could be a tough fit. I'm about 150lbs, 5'8" and I fit snug and comfortably but wouldn't want to be bigger. I havn't paddled the Switch which is the bigger version but I've heard good things about it. Let me know if you want any more info.

I found a cheap g-force so I think I'm going to try that out. It should be an interesting experience going from the Clean to a g-force because there will be 1' 7" less boat. Yeehaw, I'm psyched. Wish me luck. I'll probably be doing a 'fence post' conversion. It worked great for my Y. Nice and light and totally bomber. I'll let y'all know how it turns out for this boat. I
