Has anyone tried a Pyranha Sub 7 as a C1?
Comments? Any suggestions for a boat with similar properties?

I Have a One Ball Sub 7 C1. I'm about 155lbs. I originally bought it to be an all round c1. Which it is! It fast considering the length and Im able to run rivers no problem with it. Along the way it has enough rocker ans slicy to throw down any of the latest freestyle moves with some skill. The hull is super loose, i can spin on any wave and it can get some good bounce too. I used to paddle a xxx, and i find the hull speed to be around the same but this baby runs river WAY better. It's in my opionion one of the best all around play boats. Right now im looking at a LL Skip because i have been doing alot more playing, and have a open boat to do big water in. But all in all an awesome boat, and i wish i woulnd't have to get rid of it to get a new boat.
If you have an more questions feel free to MSG me.

Thnx for the info, I am current pladdling the sub 7 (2ball) as a k1 and was thinking of changeing it into a c1. Your opions will help towards my decision. Also I was wondering if anyone has tried keeping a boat as both k1 and c1..... I was thinking of a couple ideas that would just involve a bit of switching before each paddle. Only thoughts on that?!?!

I weight 145 and am 5'9 and aware that I would be better with the smaller sub 7... but the sub 7 isn't being made any more

ya unfortunatly production has stoped!! As for keeping as a k1 or c1, usually Dagger conversion kits work well, as you can outfit the boat in a couple hours, and switch back and forth if you please.
Question?

I gonna put a Plug in at Bushtukah, since i work there, and Kalin does too, i know you might be able to order one from Dagger. Kalin might be able to help you out if you can't get one from Bushtukah.

I'd order one from
www.kayakoutfitting.com. I dont' think Dagger sells them anymore, and Eric at kayakoufitting.com is a good guy. He shipped mine on the same day I called him and it was here about 3 days later. It was about $55. Check it out.
