I had a dream last night ... I was getting ready to go paddling in my H3:255 which I had just converted to C1 after trying it as a kayak a few times. Usual faffing around at the get in, and not much water in the river -- more of a ditch really -- then as I go back to car I notice we are by the ocean -- how come I didn't notice this before? The are humungous waves breaking and two of my mates (kayakers) who are into surfing are already getting on the water having ditched the river trip (thanks for telling me guys!) so obviously being keen on surfing I want to join them, so I faff about more trying to find boat, gear, deck, outfitting, etc all the while worried they will leave without me (standard anxiety dream I guess) and when I get back to the sea front, I see this:

Wow! These two other dudes, obviously locals, heading out on these cool looking craft -- sort of an evolution of my spud designs.

Anyway, I think I will have to find out about surfboard making now, and have go ...
