At last i do it. I'paddled c1 some of the most serious creek of Corsica, showing at the italian yakers that is possible even with a single blade. Unlikely the water level was a little low, but enough for have fun. And, i was not the only c-paddler in the island, Thomas Frey Joe a swiss c1 paddler was there too.

Some pics and video (soon) at http://www.playboatingitalia.com/corsic ... ica03.html

That looks so nice. Perhaps a Europe trip should be in the plans for that year in between highschool and college. If only I had money...dam.

The boat

Post by Paolo »

The boat was a Zulu from Rainbow Kayak. Rainbow is an italian company.
Altought i'm in the dagger europe team i don't received my new dagger boats in time enough for my trip in Corsica. So Diego, the owner of rainbow who's a friend of mine, provided me a Zulu.
Actually the boat is like a little Y, the shape is really similar but less the volume.
The initial stability is enough but not a lot, but the secondary stability is good. The plastic could be better, but is not so bad.
The price is cheap. So the Zulu could be the right choice is you'r looking for a cheap creek boat.
If you want know more on the boat see at www.canoa.it
Cheers
