Maxwell makes nice paddles-solid build and nice finish. If you're looking for an "ergo" or "crankshaft" type paddle, I'd definitely check them out. That said, so far I'm still of the "old school straight shaft clan", but that's just me :D-there are quite a few other people out there that really like the "ergo" or "crankshaft" design, and use Maxwell paddles for play (they are built well enough I'd expect they'd hold up fine for creeking, but I don't have any experience to back it up) .
