I have only paddled open canoes. I am right handed. Started on right side paddling and still paddle on the right.

Or is this right, as in correct, that we only use a single blade!

Right handed, paddle right... began in an Old Town 18' my Dad brought home one Christmas day. Also paddled Hydra Centaur (that my sister has and won't give back
).

right handed, paddle lefty, started as a raft guide, but quickly saw the light...been on my knees ever since.
