Craig,
Great race! Great location! No tornados!
My only objection is that the other competitors failed to be sufficiently deferent to my advanced "experience".
However - I forgot to get the name of the fellow who was selling videos. Can you post it or send it via e-mail?
Thanks,

As with BobP, I had a great time at Wausau, though mostly from the sidelines. Kaz and Dana, as usual had the smokin runs. I sure results will be posted eventually on Keech's ACA Open Canoe Slalom site but he's running a Jacque Cartier trip right now and ain't around to do it. The centerpiece of the race was the great pull-off (some people gave it another name) to determine the men's combined champion. Mark Clark and Dave Paton (famous HACKS) tied with Gordon Black (Nantahala) and Randy Carlson (UMinn/Duluth outdoor center). So Smerda comes up with the great idea of tying the sterns of two Esquiff demo boats together and having a best two out of three paddle off tug of war style. Unfortunately the overlly boastfull HACKS went down to defeat in the third round but it was fun to watch. We certainly missed you Alden. Be sure to save a week for the Klamath in sunny california next year.

....gimme another week and I'll have them up... I went right from race stuff to starting the ball on housebuilding, a sixtyth anniversary shindig for my wife's grandparents and back to work and catch-up. Oh yeah! I was just sent a Robson Twintip kayak for people to demo through the rest of the season.... then she's goin' C1 this winter.... can't wait. Did anyone get video of the tug-off?
bye!,
Craig
While I wrote this I could have posted some times, etc. ....nah!
