Space Cadet is an amazing wave boat, and it makes a great c1. I paddle a Kingpin c1 which is just as short in fact almost the same size exactly, and it's not too short. The space cadet is a wicked wave boat. The Pop might be a little bit faster..prolly not noticable and will most likely be more stable cartwheeling in a hole.

See if you can try them both out!

I paddle a space cadet C1 and have spent some time in a Pop as well. I won't worry about differences in hull speed, they are nearly the same. The space cadet is much easier to throw down, especially in flatwater (i'm 175 lbs), but both are good boats. Might be slightly better river running in the Pop, but they are both pretty silly slow.

If you can find a good deal on a space cadet, go for it! awesome boat, you won't regret it.
