Pyranha Prelude Outfitting

I just received my new Pyranha Prelude OC1 and am very pleased with the way it paddles. Short OC1s rule! Anyhow, I was wondering about the outfitting:
1.The pedestal is held in place by the thwarts and slides around. How are other Prelude owners attaching the saddle to prevent this?
2.The thigh blocks are just slid into place. Do you glue them to the pedestal after final adjustments?
Any information on how other owners are completing their outfitting will be greatly appreciated.

I glued the saddle to the hull of my prelude, once I figured out the proper position. The same goes for the thighblocks or bulkhead.
I used regular cement glue, holds together really well so far.
Be sure to have the position of everything right before you glue it in, it's hard to remove once it's glued in.
And yes, you are right, the Prelude rules!

That would actually be contact cement I used, not cement glue!!

I used 2-sided outdoor carpet tape to figuire out the placement of the outfitting. It holds things in place pretty well and you aren't committed the same way you are with glue. Be warned though that the 2-sided tape can't stand up to big munchy holes - not only do your buddies end up chasing you and your boat, they have to get all your outfitting too!

Go to the "outfitting" page right here at C-boats. I have an entire article on OC1 outfitting that is specially for Pyranha, Robson, Savage OC1's. Hope it helps.
Nice Job

Nice job on the outfitting site, Craig. I had not seen it before.
