Who's got cool Cboat pics?

Post by Timzjatl »

Heres a few from the Tellico in July. Baby Falls is the rapid and the level is around 2.3 feet.

Anyone have some pics they want to show off?
Let's see them!

I had to lay the smackdown on this cocky kayaker on Benson Creek here in my ol' kentucky home:

(if that picture didn't work, could someone give me some advice on how to post images on here?)

will.. first you gotta host them on a site that allows remote linking... imagestation.com, and many others do. then find the direct URL of teh pic by right clicking on it and clicking properties... copy this url and enter it in your post like this:

[img]http://www.imagestation.com/img341z7wil ... simage.jpg[/img]
but with no space between the URL and the [img] tags.
then the image should appear in the post....

Hey C1Kelly;
is that an Iliad paddle? Man, I have a Magnum and I love it!! You can paddle, pole, dig a toilet trench, and probably build a fence with them babies!!

Ric-
Chris Paddles with a Werner Point (the cheapest one) and has broken several (and splinted them with sticks and duct tape). He and I both managed to get in on the last few of Maxwell's sticks though, I can't wait to get mine! :D

Joey-
Nice Pics, where is that?

Ric-
Yeah, the Werner points disintegrate, but they ARE cheap. Plus that one belongs to GA Tech, so it's all good. And I've snapped a Norse paddle in half before, so nothing's indestructable.

Kirill-
Not sure how you pulled off that high brace, and I'm REALLY not sure why you're shoulder wasn't dislocated in the process...

BTW: if you want to see more of those Tellico pics, the URL is:
http://photo.cailloux.com/
I'll warn you though, the guy took a TON of pictures, and the page takes a long, long time to load. But there's some other good ones in there.

Here are some images from the last few months.

Jo, chilling out on the Desert R. in Quebec in August.<br>

Me demonstrating what not to do when running McCoys on the Ottawa. That's Phils Hole just downstream of me.

Allan H intentionally (!) dropping into Rototiller in Lucifer's Rapid on the Gatineau.

Me running a Cascade Falls on Keuka Outlet. The Slalom course starts below (no fun! :) ) the falls. First successful OC1 descent (and despite what it looks like I only took on about 1" of water!)

Another wonderful example of an air pry :) Upper NoName Wave on the Ottawa.
