Spoke with Bell Canoe Works in Minneapolis. They said that they pretty much have the agreements in place to get the Ocoee molds from dagger. They were hesitant in giving an exact timeline for this but were aiming for the springtime! Woohoo! I think it's a great thing that this mold will be in production yet again.
Anyway, enjoy, it's a *great* option for openboaters. Hence the difficulty in finding one! I've been keeping my eyes open for about 3 months to no avail.

Great! I spoke with John from Bell this spring and told him that it might be coming up for grabs. With "any" luck they will also be making carbon versions for racing. They have some other boats in the works such as the Outrage"D" (Dana had a Carbon version at Nationals.. sweet layup.. they do "high end" lightweight boats) and others?? I hope it works out for them... and hopefully I can get that Carbon Ocoee that so many of us have craved for years.
