Names

I have, over my relatively short boating career, stumbled across a weird fact. Why is it that so many kayakers are named either "Scott" or "Brian" ???
Has anyone else noticed this strange pattern? It's mostly the advanced guys, and mostly kayakers too. I swear though. I mean, just look at the US slalom team: youve got scott shipley, scott parsons (and his brother Brian, head of USACK) scott mann, scott mcclesky. Oh and dont forget that guy who won a gold medal, scott strausbaugh.
the brians tend to be mostly creekers. many of them have a toyota pickup. haha. no, it's true though.
are certain names predestined for certain personality types?
Alden (not many of those kicking around the creeks these days . . . )
