I want to convert a Dagger Juice to C1. I weigh between 175 to 185 thoughout the year. I am trying to decide whether to get the 6.9 or 7.1. I want to do a mix of river running and play. I am right on the dividing line for the weight ranges. Which would you choose??
Thanks for your help.
Dagger Juice 6.9 or 7.1

The local shop just got one of these in, but they had it strapped to
the wall so I couldn't see all of the hull. It looks like a good cross of spud and long boat design with nice edges, good volume and width, just in time for conversion season.
Has anyone heard any kayaker feeback on how this boat paddles? Boats seldom paddle the way they look to me. It looks like a decent river runner and surfer, and it shouldn't be too hard to bow stall. The stern looks less slicy, but should be easy to squish if its too big.
At 185, I'd say go for the big boat, it should be faster, more stable and stay on a wave better. If you're willing to sacrifice some river running ability for a super slicey boat about that length, you might be better off in a delerious than the 6.9 .
