Has anyone who weighs 240 paddled a Savage Skeeter? Has anyone who weighs close to this paddled one. If so, has the boat reached the max load, did it paddle ok?
Thanks for the input.

Bill,
I have been with some 230 plus who paddled a Spanish Fly. They sat pretty low in the boat by dishing out the console. THis same person also had a CUFLY. Since ther Skeeter is bigger, I would think it would work.

Hi Chuck,
Thanks for the information.

On a different note if you don't mind an advanced beginner tagging along on a trip. I'd like to paddle Clear Creek or the Obed. ( This winter/spring. If you ever have a weekday off (Tue/Wed/Thur) off. I might also be able to head up on a weekend- I have run the Pigeon, but swam 7 times on two runs, but I ran Nantahala dry.

Hey Bill,
One seasoned c boater told me that we are all living between swims. In then Summer my son and I paddle the Pigeion once or twice a week since we liver 40 minutes away. We would love to have you along. We know the best places to swim. Actually, thats one river where nose clips and ear plugs are a good idea. Don't drink the water either.

This spring is going to be interesting. I am having bunyon surgery on Jan 27th. However, I will give you the names two canoe clubs,
Chota and East Tennessee Whitewater. Both have web sites.

By the way, I have a Spanish Fly and a converted Dagger GTX. My son is having a converted LL Hoss built and his other boat is a converted G force. We plan to go river crazy as soon as baseball season is over for him at UK.
