southeastern c-1 squirters?

Post by forrain »

Any c-1 squirters out there who will be around the ocoee on weekends this summer? I've been doing alot of flatwater stuff in a cut down acrobat (also taken it to cat's pjs a bunch last summer) and would like to pick the brains of some other squirts and see if i can expand on what i have picked up. i've been able to translate some from the double bladed squirt world, but some things are still a bit tricky. I also would like to get to the point where i can paddle my full cut acrobat down the ocoee, hopefully this summer.

i'm beginning to think you are more likely to see the lochness monster on a river than a c1 squirter.... and i'm still looking for a boat... sigh!

just always be on the lookout. i got very lucky in the two acrobats i have, both came from k1ers. i looked to no avail for a while, then wham i had two squirt boats.

the last one i got, is full cut and had never been on moving water and i was able to trade for an old creek boat i had sitting around gatehring dust.

i think there are quite a few of these boats in garages and under porches.

i've been wanting to share a beer with nessie too.
It sounds like a song to me,
takes away the pain,
the river is the melody,
the sky is the refrain.

....where are all these porches?

Rumor has it that bigfoot is one heck of a squirter... although I'm not sure I want to paddle with him... bad B.O. and all.

I did get a chance to meet the Boogey Man on the Tallulah a few years back.... He can hold his breath a long time!.... scary stuff folks!

I just need to find one porch..

As soon as I find one of those porches there will be one more c-1 squirt owner in the SE. It'll be a while after that before I can really call myself a squirt boater. My next project is learning to fix my Viper  .

I used to have an Acro and played around on the Ocoee some. There's a dude from Chattanooga named Harry Fields who normally paddles a red S6 200 and drives a big grey 'wambulance' and he has an acro and plays around on the Ocoee some...they'res a few out there...
