I just came back from a surfing trip to Skookumchuck! 24 hours, 3 sessions, one in the dark with marine phosphorescence and glow sticks attached to boat and paddle and helmet.
It was terrific! I need some time to process all this stuff. It was the best surfing I ever had.
This wave has such a huge foampile that grabs your whole back and pushes you forward and is so fast (it was not too crazy, so the whirlpools were not as scary as they can be, but I hada few very good pirouettes
)
The boat was just bouncing like crazy. I hope to get some pics online soon ...
