GTX C Boat finally ready

I have been tweaking a GTX off and on for several months. I thought I had everything balanced out and then I got into some bigger water and it became an unstable nightmare. :(

I friend noticed that I had too much of the residual kayak outfitting and a throw bag for a raft trip, plus the seat was still too far back. I built a nice bulkhead, took out the weight, moved everything forward and got a throw bag that attaches to the waist. :)

I took the boat on the Ocoee for the first time this season and was pleased that the first big hole was not able to grab the tail as before, plus the off side ferries were very stable.

I posted this to say...hang in there if it's not tweaked yet, there is hope.

Always a sweet feeling once the outfitting is tweaked.

Happy paddling!

How did that boat work out for you? How stable is it? I am thinking of buying as a Class 4 river runner. I weigh 240 pounds, am six-foot-two. Stability is my main concern. I figure the boat's performance otherwise is pretty good.
